2nd Annual Peeling Plate Rally

Northeast Title & Tag, in collaboration with the Office of Senator Marty Flynn, proudly announces the return of the highly anticipated 2nd Annual Peeling Plate Rally. This community-driven initiative aims to simplify the process of replacing peeling license plates for residents of Scranton and surrounding areas. The event will take place on April 13th, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Northeast Title & Tag Office located in the Keyser Oak Shopping Center in Scranton.

During the rally, attendees will benefit from several key features:

- FREE New Replacement License Plates: Qualified participants will receive brand new replacement license plates on-site at no cost.
- Pennsylvania State Police Inspection: A certified Pennsylvania State Police officer will be available to inspect and certify license plates, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
- Streamlined Paperwork Processing: Say goodbye to tedious paperwork! Attendees can complete all necessary forms and processing directly at the event, eliminating the need to mail documents to PennDOT.
- Waived Service Fees: To further ease the process, all service fees associated with the transaction will be waived for participants of the rally.

Policy Hearing – Healthcare Desserts

On Tuesday, May 14, Senator Katie Muth, Chair of the Senate Democratic Policy Committee, along with Representative Ryan Bizzarro, Chair of the House Majority Policy Committee, will host a policy hearing with co-hosts Senator Marty Flynn and Representative Bridget Kosierowski discussing the emerging issue of healthcare deserts in the Commonwealth. These areas can be found in both urban and rural settings, where economic, geographic, or social barriers limit the availability and accessibility of healthcare.

This hearing will be at the Lackawanna College (501 Vine Street, Scranton, PA 18510) with a virtual option.
